Lord Jeffrey Inn – Amherst Mass. Wedding For Sandra and Chris by TAB Photographic

2014-10-13_0005If this wedding was going to go as smoothly as all the others this year, it will be a blast. These two, it’s a rare connection. I remember from their engagement session that their love is just easy. And on their wedding day, for Sandy and Chris, this would prove no different. Each of them wanting to just see the other walking down the aisle.

Of course I had to get there first and with it being Homecoming Weekend at UMASS, this would not be an easy task. After sitting in traffic for 45 minutes I finally pulled into that beautiful quaint town of Amherst. The streets bustling and the energy high. First up, finding Sandy at the Salon, and what a great place. Everyone working there was full of smiles and kindness and that just keeps the energy so great. And with a bride that’s nervous, all those smiles and all that kindness surely helps keep the stress and anxiety low.

Right from the start, Sandy knew that Chris was most likely the one. “I think I had an inkling the very first time we hung out outside of work – we sat and talked for nearly three hours straight about life, the universe, and everything. I had never had that kind of connection with anyone before – it was just so easy and I was able to just be myself. As we spent more and more time together I realized how smart, caring, and honest he was and as we opened up to each other we realized that we both found something in each other that we’d never had with anyone before.”  Saying and believing that “he’s the one” right from the first time they hung out outside of work. Crazy right. But if you ever had a chance to meet these two, you would know it’s true.

2014-10-13_0019However…- While sandy knew Chris was the one from the start, it was Chris who said those three words first. And to this day, only Sandy has ever heard him speak them. on New Year’s eve the first year we were dating – right after the ball dropped. It was a spur of the moment thing that he said out of the blue because he felt it and it took me by complete surprise and my heart swelled with joy and I of course said it back.”

And all that, brings us back to their wedding day. A beautiful crisp day in New England. And their families finally coming together for the first time on their wedding day and it all went so wonderfully. The ceremony was so ridiculously awesome with Dr. Robert Dorit being their officiant and having a history with these two. He was seriously awesome and may have moved right up to the best ceremony I’ve ever witnessed. And yes, it really was that great. From there, it went on to a beautiful cocktail hour on the roof top patio where the families were all laughing, mingling and having a wonderful time. And from there, the night wrapped up with a reception that was elegant and filled with autumn and New England. From cranberries to oil lamps. It was simply elegant and fun with their families and awesome guests… Simply elegant and awesome!
